It is obvious that the author did thorough research and the book is very educational. The heroine learns that children in her small town are being forced into the sex trade. With the help of a variety of secondary characters, including her boyfriend and dog, she works to uncover the players in the trade and bring them to justice.
There was a lack of energy in the way this book was written. The relationship between the This book deals with the sad subject of child sex trafficking in Latin America.

The relationship between the heroine and her boyfriend seemed lukewarm and there was no feeling of suspense when it came to solving the crime. The outcome is very predictable. If you need a non challenging read for a restful weekend you would like this mystery.
