Near the end of this sermon, he makes this appeal: It's always good to read a great sermon of Pastor Moody. Even though written in the it's always good he's so powerful and always learn something. A wonderful doctrine to spur the modern church to leave our idols behind, pick up our crosses, and look for the Lord. One person found this helpful. The book was a fast and efficient read. I enjoyed the simple and direct language being used. We could use more of that in this era. This book is understandable and easy to read.

Helping one to understand God's great Word. Moody was blessed by God in his writing and preaching. Excellent choice for spiritual reading!

Our Blessed Hope

It is excellent product and I like fill this type of stuff out. It is wonderful thing to fill out. It is not Gabriel or Michael, or any of the rest of the angelic host. They are inadequate for what we hope for and what we need. We look and long for the one who is our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is a blessed hope because it is connected with Jesus Christ. Life without Christ is a hopeless end; however, life in Christ is an endless hope. The greatest joy on earth is the sure hope of heaven!

He is who is coming is our great God not our greater God, for after Him no one is great! He is our great God, the object of our worship, creator and Savior, forgiver of sins, final judge, the one to whom we pray, the one in whom all the fullness of the godhead dwells in a body Colossians 2: He is my Savior, my redeemer, and rescuer. The One who came to a cradle is the one who is coming again in the clouds. His first appearing is past and is associated with grace, but His second appearing is future and is associated with glory.
