I was distracted for a while getting there because as I left the room, the sunrise over the Cuban hills was breathtaking. Breakfast was great, and the coffee was excellent. Just not my thing ; If all I did was stay at the hotel and beach for my trip, it would have been an amazing time. But with a free shuttle into Havana leaving at 9: I left gifts for the cleaning ladies EVERY day; clothes, soaps, toothpaste and brushes, razors, pencils, pens, chocolates, gum… And on the last day, left all the medications I bought for the trip generic Tylenol, aspirin, Advil, as well as Gravol and anti-diarrhea pills I took one a day, just in case! First, there are older men and young girls, as well as older women and young boys. Second, the food was good, not great with some very notable exceptions.
Keep your valuables either locked in the safe, or with you at all times. Fourth, the hotel was clean and fairly well maintained. Your AC may leak, your TV may not get the best reception, and if you have a shower when everyone else in the hotel has a shower, you might run into problems with hot water. If you have five star expectations, you will be one of those whiny people who posts negative reviews.

It was my 3rd stay with them. These are the improvements that I noticed: There is a pasta station and ice cream some days. Overall, food is good and I really don't get why people complain. What needs to be improved: The service should be with 2 departures, as before, one returning at 6!!!

Same goes for the lobby in general. The breeze is plentiful, but air circulation is terrible architectural issue, obviously But fans could help. Again, fans would make a world of difference Summary: It's location across the street from a beautiful beach and close to Havana makes it a perfect destination.
